We do not devote energy building a database; we build relationships. In today’s information age, databases can be built in a week that consists of hundreds of thousands of qualified candidates. They can be purchased or leased. We utilize databases as a fraction of a candidate pool and to verify resume accuracy. Each search that we undertake is considered a unique role and we begin each search through a lens focusing on its uniqueness and actively pursue candidates in a far more strategic and focused manner.
We limit the number of current assignments very carefully. We are highly tenacious in difficult assignments and ensure that the client is kept informed of marketplace conditions.
We limit the number of searches handled by each consultant to no more than 3–4 assignments at any one time and those assignments are seldom started on the same day. Thus they are evenly paced. We make certain that whatever projects we undertake are time and cost effective and completed with concentrated dispatch.
We are very highly focused on both the client and the candidate in every project we undertake. We aim to build long-term relationships and to ensure that the client experiences a very high level of comfort and satisfaction with our work and the results.
We provide excellent on-going communication throughout each project. We don’t want the client to experience unpleasant surprises. We want them to know at every stage of the assignment the progress made, the market reaction to the opportunity, and who has been recommended for contact and why.
We send the client a full status report every month during the project’s duration. These report documents where we have been – companies researched and contacted – whom we have talked to, contacted and interviewed and what our conclusions are at that stage.
We prepare candidate documentation to the clients’ needs in terms of length, depth of information, and subjective information, all of which would affect the likely outcome of the hiring.
When the candidate has come onboard, we still maintain a close relationship and to ensure a smooth transition provide a 6-month support program designed to individual needs if required. It is built into our recruiting service.
